Delete Your Data
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Neon Noqat: Dots & Boxes has no accounts. Most of what the game uses is on your device, and you can delete it yourself. For the little that is kept on the game server, send us one email.
This page is for players of Neon Noqat: Dots & Boxes (package com.yousif93.dotsandboxes), developed by Yousif Almaliki. It explains how to delete your data and what is deleted or kept.
1. Delete the data on your device
- On Android: open Settings > Apps > Neon Noqat: Dots & Boxes > Storage and tap Clear storage, or uninstall the game.
- In the web version: clear the site data of this site in your browser.
This deletes your settings, your player names and the random device ID the game uses for online play. The server can no longer connect anything to you after that.
2. Ask us to delete the data on the game server
- Write to yousifalmaliki9999@gmail.com with the subject Delete my data - Neon Noqat.
- Tell us the player name you used online, the room code if you know it, and the date and approximate time of the match. There are no accounts, so this is how we find the records that concern you.
- We delete the records and reply to confirm, within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
- Reports that you sent or that are about you: the random IDs and names of both players, the room code and the stored chat messages (ten at most).
- Rooms (names, moves, the last 30 chat messages) need no request. An empty lobby is deleted after 10 minutes, a finished or abandoned match 30 minutes after the last activity.
4. What may be kept, and for how long
- An active restriction (the random ID of a player who was muted or blocked for breaking the rules, and the reason) is kept until it expires or is lifted, to keep online play safe.
- Technical logs of our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which include IP addresses, are deleted automatically after a few days (seven at most).
- Reports that nobody asks us to delete are deleted automatically after 90 days.
